| But this Spring feels more special than the past few years. I feel a renewed sense of hope and American Pride. For the first time in a while, I believe our Country is heading in the right direction. The November election results are a big reason for my optimism. For that, I want to thank my fellow hunters, and especially my Hunter Nation warriors, for turning out to vote last November in record numbers! THANK YOU!! In fact, just counting the votes from hunters who had not voted or voted 50% or less in the last 16 years, was more than the margin of victory/loss in 4 of the crucial swing states, including Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia! That proves that when the American Hunters vote in big numbers, we can decide what candidates win and lose. Even more specifically, when hunters vote in big numbers, we get to control the direction of policy making at the local, state, and national levels.
We are already experiencing the results of Hunters voting in record numbers. With Hunter Nation leading the charge, the wolf delisting bill is moving forward. After Hunter Nation attended the committee hearing, and with our biologist providing testimony, the bill was voted out of committee and is now heading to the House floor for a vote. We have been meeting with many members of the House of Representatives to ensure that the bill passes the House.
We are also pushing the identical bill in the Senate and have been meeting with Senators to inform them on just how important that the passage of this bill is. We are pointing out that the gray wolf recovery is one of the greatest conservation success stories in American history and now that they are fully recovered, the wolf needs to be delisted and managed at the state level. Additionally, we need to make sure that the new legislation prevents liberal activist judges from interfering with science based conservation in order to please the anti-hunting activist groups. The fact that Hunter Nation is in a position to get this once in a generation pro-hunting legislation passed, is a testament to what can happen when hunters vote. For that, I will forever be grateful to my fellow Hunters and Hunter Nation members and team!
Also, you must admit it is a great feeling of power to know that your one vote, when added to the one vote of nearly 3 million other hunters, has led to a rebirth of confidence and patriotism in America! Because of your vote, we are now living in what is being called the “Golden Age of America” and have the opportunity to ensure that our Hunting Lifestyle will be protected for generations to come |
