The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces their November 2026 meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, the 11th at 7pm. It was noted that the November and December meetings are held at the Manitowoc Gun Club. The Gun Club makes up a considerable portion of the Manitowoc Unit membership. As always, meetings are open to the public and feature a brief business meeting, speaker and lunch. It is a great way to connect with other sporting men and women and keep up on key conservation and stewardship issues.
Speaker for the evening will be Claire Hetzel from the DNR. She is the aquatic specialist water resource biologist. She will be discussion her work and area lakes. There will be opportunities for questions and discussions.
The club has also announced that it has scheduled the second meat raffle for 2027. The Hog Wild Meat & Treats raffle will be held Sunday, April 18th, 2027 at Tapped on the Lakeshore. This highly successful event will be expanded beyond just meat to a wide variety of food items and treats. There will also be new specialty events added.
The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game is a conservation and stewardship organization protecting the rights and resources of the area for almost 120 years. It supports youth programs to get young people involved outdoors. It is one of 24 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County Fish & Game.
