Subject:         November Meeting

The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces their November meeting on Wednesday, November 12th at 7pm.  It is noted that the club’s November and December meetings are held at the Manitowoc Gun Club.  As always, meetings are open to the public and feature a brief business meeting, speaker and lunch. It is a great way to connect with other sporting men and women before the upcoming hunting season.

The November speaker will be a member of the Manitowoc Fire Chief Todd Blaser.  He will update the group on activities in the area and fire prevention during recent dry periods. The Manitowoc Unit works to offer a variety of speakers and topics to inform members and the community on issues important to conservation in Manitowoc County.

The club also reminds the community that the FORWARD Endowment is now seeking requests for funding through the end of the year.  Projects must be in Manitowoc County and relate to hunting, fishing and related education.  More information and applications are available on the mantyfg.com website.

Manitowoc County Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming.  It supports youth programs to get young people involved outdoors. It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.  The community is also reminded to visit the organization’s new website, launched in January.
