Subject: April Meeting
The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces their March 2026 meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, the 8th at 7pm, Lincoln Park, Cabin #1. As always, meetings are open to the public and feature a brief business meeting, speaker and lunch. It is a great way to connect with other sporting men and women and keep up on key conservation issues.
The speaker will be Sue Crowley from Woodland Dunes Nature Center. She will be updating the group on things going on at the center and on things to watch for in spring wildlife. The club also announced the completion of a $2,000 donation to the City of Manitowoc Tree Planting program at Lincoln Park Zoo. There will be a total of eight trees/shrubs planted from the kayak launch north toward Reed Avenue along the Bayshore Trail. The trees and shrubs are of all different varieties and should be very beneficial for the environment, wildlife, birds and pollinators. Signage will be installed upon planting. Planting will take place this spring.

Manitowoc County Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming. It supports youth programs to get young people involved outdoors. It is one of 23 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.
