DryLok™ Waterproof This is the new addition that changes everything about how the Wind Brace Pro performs in bad weather. For years, the Wind Brace Pro handled cold and wind about as well as anything on the market. Rain was the one thing that could still send you back to the truck early. That’s no longer the case. The DryLok membrane is fully waterproof and windproof while still breathing, so rain, wet snow, and damp conditions stay outside the jacket and pant instead of soaking through. Taped seams back up the membrane at every stitch line, closing off the spots where water usually finds a way in. You’re not just dealing with a water-resistant coating that wears off after a season or two of hard use. This is a legitimate barrier built into the fabric itself. What makes it work for hunters specifically, and not just anyone standing in the rain, is that it breathes while it protects. A lot of waterproof gear traps moisture from the inside just as effectively as it blocks it from the outside, leaving you damp with sweat instead of rain.
