Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
  • 12 oz. chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried basil

DIRECTIONS:Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of a non-stick CanCooker.  Whisk chicken broth, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.  Cook on low medium heat for 15 minutes, turn the thighs and cook an additional 10 minutes.  Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

This is amazing – super tender and the sauce is very easy to make.

If your CanCooker does not have the non-stick coating please adjust the recipe by:
Steam the thighs in 12 ounces of chicken stock for 25-30 minutes until the thighs are done
Mix combination of ingredients to make the glaze as listed below:

  • ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ Cup Ketchup
  • ¼ Cup Honey
  • 2 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon basil

Pour glaze on chicken thighs after removing them from the CanCooker and let rest for five minutes.
Or place in oven or on grill to get caramelization.
