Join us at Willow Falls (formerly Laack’s) for two days of food, music, friends, cold drinks, and one of Johnsonville’s favorite traditions — the 52nd Annual Pretzel Bender.
This year, Pretzel Fest brings the celebration together across two days:
SUNDAY, JULY 5 PRETZEL FEST COMMUNITY DAY (Formerly Sausage Fest)
11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Finish your holiday weekend with live music, great food, beer, wine, and community.
Bella Musik performs from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the Weingarten. Bring a lawn chair and settle in for a relaxed summer afternoon. If the temperature is over 80 degrees, the music will move indoors for guest comfort.
Food and full bar service will be available from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, featuring:
• Johnsonville brats
• Pulled pork sandwiches on pretzel buns
• Soft pretzels with cheese
• Hard pretzels with cocktail sauce
• German potato salad
• Sauerkraut
• Cole slaw
• Beer, wine, cocktails, and German selections
Then from 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM, The Good Time Dutchmen take the stage inside the Ballroom for an air-conditioned afternoon of great music, dancing, and good company.
MONDAY, JULY 6
THE 52ND ANNUAL PRETZEL BENDER
The tradition continues Monday night. As always the first Monday after the 4th of July!
Bars open at 8:00 PM.
The Good Time Dutchmen begin playing outdoors in the front parking lot at 9:00 PM.
All night, enjoy cold beer, full-service bars, food, friends, Pretzel Bender trays including the traditional Smoked Beef Tongue, soft pretzels, Jägermeister specials, and the kind of Johnsonville celebration people have been coming back to for generations.
At midnight, don’t miss the
Pretzel Bender Parade!
Anyone can enter — bring a float, wear a costume, gather a group, or simply join the fun. Guests will vote for their favorite parade entry, and the People’s Choice winner receives $100 cash.
The American Legion will also join us at midnight with the Color Guard and traditional gun salute, proudly honoring our country.
Admission is free.
