Planned agenda
Noah Lottig is a Research Scientist with the University of Wisconsin–Madison Center for Limnology, based at Trout Lake Station in northern Wisconsin. His work focuses on understanding Wisconsin’s lakes through long-term monitoring, research, and the development of new technologies for collecting lake data. He will provide the audience with an overview of his research and then field questions regarding the equipment.

- Secretary’s report of 6/25/26 meeting currently posted on MCLA website, request for any corrections/additions
- Treasurer’s report
- 2026 newsletter is being printed and should mail soon, please start working on any submissions for the 2027 newsletter and forward them to Dave Pozorski.
- Lake representatives’ reports.
- The 2026 annual meeting/banquet date is Saturday October 17th at Autumn Ridge Golf Course with Cedar Lake being the host. Are there any last minute nominations for a Lake Stewardship award? The announcement for the annual meeting/banquet will be sent out no later than 8/31/26.
- Mark your calendars, the last 2026 meeting date in room 300 is 11/19/26. The 2027 meeting dates in room 300 are 2/25/27, 4/22/27, 6/24/27, 8/26/27, and 11/18/27. The 2027 annual meeting/banquet date will be announced later.
