Ingredients

  •  4 Italian Hot Sausages
  •  24 -30 shrimp – peeled and deveined
  •  1 small onion – diced
  •  1 cup mushrooms – sliced
  •  1 orange bell pepper – sliced
  •  2 cloves garlic – minced
  •  2 tbsp CanCooker Original Creole Seasoning
  •  1 cup tomato sauce
  •  ½ cup heavy cream
  •  Optional – Cooked rice or pasta

Directions

  1. Slice the sausage and place in any CanCooker.
  2. On a medium-to-medium low heat source cook the sausage until browned, about 3-4 minutes each side.
  3. When the sausage has browned, add the shrimp to the CanCooker.
  4. Season with CanCooker Original Creole Seasoning and toss to combine.
  5. Add in the onion, mushrooms, bell pepper and garlic.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp is translucent and cooked through.
  7. Add the tomato sauce and the heavy cream and stir until combined.
  8. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes and serve.
  9. Can be served with rice or your favorite pasta.
