“It really is lot of pack for the price,” said Blocker Outdoors Marketing Director, Steve Allie. “I suppose we could have built a simple backpack and called it a day. But instead, we pushed the limit on features and quality and kept it under 100 bucks.” An incredible value, the rugged 600-denier Shield Backpack yields a roomy 2,000 cubic inches of interior space, which is impressive for a daypack. Beyond the generous real estate, though, it’s how Blocker capitalized on every square inch. “On the inside, its loaded with secure storage options,” said Allie. “On the inside of the main compartment there are several pouches, some zippered and others secured with elastic – more pouches on the inside of the zippered door flap, as well as the inner sides. There’s also a main ‘laptop’ compartment, which is pretty cool.” |

To that, Blocker’s Shield Backpack is outfitted to manage a water bladder system for hydration on the go. On the exterior, accoutrements begin with a pair of side-saddled mesh water bottle pouches with elastic closures. Generous MOLLE strips promote carabiners and associated tools. Lastly, Blocker added a front zippered pocked for supplementary storage. |
