Work Sharp Combines Forces to “Sharpen” 2019 Blade Show

ASHLAND, OR — Work Sharp Outdoor, the industry-leading manufacturer of knife and tool sharpeners, will showcase their new products and offer three opportunities for showgoers to explore the importance of legacy, preparedness, and success during the 38th annual BLADE Show, June 7-9, in Atlanta.

Featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors, the BLADE Show is the world’s largest knife show. The show unites globally-recognized exhibitors under one roof to debut the latest and greatest in blades, knives, and outdoor gear.

“We’re honored to have earned a place among the Show’s top makers,” said Josh Warren, Work Sharp’s Product Expert and Stoke Ambassador. “A knife or tool is only as reliable as its sharpest edge. Knife sharpeners aren’t sexy to some people, but they play a critical role in ensuring we’re prepared for any job or outdoor adventure that comes our way.”

Work Sharp’s presence at the BLADE Show further illustrates the brand’s conviction that “Sharp Matters.” As part of its commitment to legacy, preparedness, and success, Work Sharp is proud to offer the following show opportunities.

Legacy: Together with legendary knife maker Ken Onion and Columbia River Knife and Tool, Work Sharp will give away one limited edition CRKT knife and a Ken Onion Edition Knife and Tool Sharpener. Showgoers may visit Booth #312 to enter. The giveaway will take place on June 8, at 3:45 p.m. EST

Preparedness: Work Sharp joins BLADE Magazine field editor Dexter Ewing for two exclusive Blade U courses demonstrating how to sharpen any blade, no matter the shape or edge formation. These courses will take place:

  • June 7, from 1-2 p.m. EST in Room 103
  • June 8, from 1-2 p.m. EST in Room 104
Success: Work Sharp celebrates hall-of-fame knife maker Ken Onion with a special booth appearance. In addition to the critically acclaimed Ken Onion Edition Knife and Tool Sharpener, Onion has contributed designs with Shun, Kershaw, Zero Tolerance and Columbia River Knife & Tool. He continues to create highly sought-after custom knives from his grind shop in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Meet Ken Onion on June 8, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. EST, in Booth #312.
