Win an Antelope Archery Hunt with Blocker Outdoors Ambassadors, Fred and Michele Eichler

Tree Stand Safety Awareness Foundation Partners with the Eichlers to Promote Tree Stand Safety

MUSKEGON, Mich. (October 14, 2021) – Blocker Outdoors Pro Ambassadors, Fred and Michele Eichler, operate Fulldraw Outfitters in Trinidad, Colorado, providing high-quality guided and non-guided hunts for Colorado big game. In addition to guiding customers, the Eichlers enjoy bowhunting, predator hunting, trapping, writing, wildlife photography, and spending time outdoors with their three boys – all in addition to operating a working cattle farm and commercial hay operation from their ranch. The Eichler family lives a field-to-table lifestyle, which is chronicled on their hit Sportsman Channel TV show, Everything Eichler.

The Eichler’s popularity comes as a result of the authentic people they are, the simple way they live, and the fantastic things they’ve accomplished through their own efforts. Fred, for example, was the first person to take all 29 North American big game animals recognized by Pope & Young with a recurve bow. Amidst all the showbiz in today’s hunting industry, the Eichlers are as genuine and as humble as they come and are always ready to lend a helping hand and do what’s best for the bowhunting industry.

Most recently, they have partnered with the not-for-profit Tree Stand Safety Awareness (TSSA) Foundation to help advance the organization’s mission of promoting tree stand safety awareness.

“Tree stand safety awareness is one of the most important things for any hunter who climbs into a tree,” says Fred. “I have personally been touched by tree stand safety issues; a friend of mine fell out of a tree and is permanently paralyzed to this day.” Michelle echoes the importance of tree stand safety: “We’ve all got lives outside of hunting that require good physical health to live fully, in addition to loved ones who need and expect us to come home from each hunt, safely and intact. That’s why we’re doing what we can to support the TSSA and its mission of getting more hunters to practice tree stand safety.”

Specifically, the Eichler’s have donated a 2022 guided Colorado archery antelope hunt to promote the cause. The four-day hunt will include lodging, food, and guide service in Trinidad, Colorado. One grand prize winner will be chosen at random.

Blocker Outdoors will outfit the winner of this hunt with a complete set of Blocker Outdoors hunting apparel. And to further support the TSSA’s mission of promoting tree stand safety, Blocker Outdoors will also donate ten Tree Spider safety harnesses for use during TSSA educational seminars, which will be given away by TSSA seminar participants.

“The Eichler’s generosity will help in a tremendous way raising awareness of the importance of tree stand safety,” says TSSA President, Glen Mayhew. “This is a shining example of how the outdoors industry can get behind our unifying mission of significantly reducing tree stand incidents through promotion, education and best practices.”
