In contrast, his opponent, Joshua Kaul, has received the endorsements of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s national anti-gun groups. As attorney general, Joshua Kaul signed onto an amicus brief supporting President Biden’s new ATF rules and called on the Legislature to criminalize private firearm transfers and pass a “red flag” gun confiscation law.
