It’s all about the water in Two Rivers.

T-Mobile announced Two Rivers as one of its latest Hometown Grant recipients.

The city has received a $50,000 grant to go toward installing a new ADA-compliant kayak launch and paddle ramp on the West River to make recreational paddling fully accessible to all residents and visitors.

This Two Rivers project was selected from more than 900 applicants this past quarter, and across Wisconsin, T-Mobile has now provided more than $540,000 to organizations in 13 cities.

City Manager Kyle Kordell said, “Improving Riverside Park is an investment for our southside families and for the long-term vitality of the neighborhood. Enhancements here will make the park more inviting, support neighborhood pride, and create new momentum for reinvestment in the surrounding area. When we improve our city public spaces, we improve the communities around them.”

Each quarter, T-Mobile awards 25 Hometown Grants to small towns with populations of 50,000 or less, and since 2021, we have invested more than $20 million in grants to 450 communities across 48 states and Puerto Rico.
