I’m starting to get worried.
The legislature is still in and with major legislative battles coming at us like a freight train, I still haven’t received your membership renewal for 2026.
(Of course, if you’ve already renewed your membership online or through the mail, feel free to disregard this email.)
But if you have not yet renewed your membership, I hope that you will take a minute to fill out your WIFC 2026 Membership Renewal form IMMEDIATELY!
Here’s where things stand right now here in Wisconsin as we approach the 2026 legislative session.
Political Context:
There are basically three camps in Madison right now.
- First, we have the Evers/Kaul style psychotic Leftists who are hell-bent on destroying Wisconsin. These are the radicals who are flooding our streets with criminals and foreign nationals, while trying to disarm you and me.
- Second, we have the Republican conference. I’ll be honest, there are backstabbers here in both the Senate and the Assembly. But because they know we’d expose them for betraying us, they’ve so far not passed any gun control bills.
- Third, we have a sliver of Republicans in swing seats who are nervous. After the results of the 2025 elections, it seems like the wind is at the backs of the Democrats, and they’re concerned that if they don’t pass gun control in 2026, they could lose their seats.
And because Republicans lost key seats in early Nov, Democrats believe they can either pass gun control in Madison in 2026 or flip the General Assembly in the midterms.
The second and third groups are what matters right now.
This is where we need to continue focusing our legislative pressure campaigns. If we do, we can stop Evers’ gun control in Madison, like we did this year!
So please act now and renew your membership in the Wisconsin Firearms Coalition for 2026 so we can DEFEAT the gun-grabbing Democrats and RINOs in the year ahead!
Threats We Are Facing:
I am not going to sugar coat this. Every year is a tough one for gun owners in Wisconsin. 2026 will be no exception.
You see, while Wisconsin Democrats want to copy the worst ideas coming out of Illinois and Minnesota, this year, we’re facing one of the most aggressive gun control pushes in our state’s history.
The so-called “Safe Summer” gun control package includes four major threats to our gun rights that are coming at us in 2026: “Universal Background Checks,” a 48-hour waiting period to buy firearms, “Red Flag Gun Confiscation” orders, and a ban on homemade firearms.
Tony Evers and Attorney General Josh Kaul have already rolled these bills out publicly, and their allies in the legislature are filing them as fast as they can.
- The universal background check bill would criminalize private firearm transfers and turn law-abiding gun owners into felons overnight.
- The 48-hour waiting period bill would force victims of violent crime to wait days for the ability to defend themselves.
- The red flag (ERPO) law would shred due process rights and allow your guns to be seized with no conviction and no notice.
- And the so-called “ghost gun” ban would make it illegal to build or possess any unregistered firearm — a direct attack on hobbyists, collectors, and patriots all across our state.
This isn’t all of them. There are mental health exams for gun owners, bills to make it a crime to take our kids to a local gun show, and more. But these four are coming hard in 2026!
As gun owners in Wisconsin, we have two choices: throw up our hands and give up or stand and fight as hard as we can to defend freedom for ourselves and the next generation.
I’ll tell you right now, we’re not giving up anything!
Our Plan to Hold the Line:
The only way to stop gun control in Madison is to target vulnerable politicians with overwhelming amounts of grassroots pressure from gun owners in their district.
As I explained earlier in this email, there is no point putting pressure on the hard-core commies in Madison. They won’t change their mind…
…that’s why we target weak RINOs and swing district Democrats.
The Wisconsin Firearms Coalition has built out a mobilization program that will generate thousands of voter contacts into each vulnerable Senator’s office.
Our program consists of the following:
- Our texting program; text messages receive a 90% open rate and allow us to get up-to-the-minute updates into the hands of hundreds of thousands of gun owners. These alerts contain pre-written emails that are sent to targets in the Senate.
- A digital ad program; WIFC’s video updates about gun control bills, committee action, and key floor votes allow us to get the word out fast, and in a way that can be shared.
- Our massive email program; is another way for us to inform and mobilize over 100,000 gun owners at a time. These emails contain pre-written email links that let you contact your Senator and Assemblyman with a few mouse clicks.
- WIFC’s direct mail program; direct mail updates like the one you are reading are powerful because we can include a lot of details about bills (with petitions to stop them), and Big Tech companies can’t stop them.
Every part of this program is designed to remind the Democrats and RINOs in Madison that they’ll have to pay for every single inch of freedom they try to take from us!
We have built the program, but for it to work it needs to be massive — and we need to be able to afford to run it.
