                                        Subject:     April Monthly Meeting & Fundraiser

The Manitowoc Unit of Manitowoc County Fish & Game announced that its March meeting will be held at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 on Thursday, April 4^th at 7pm. The Organization works to promote and protect the rights of sporting men and women in the county and support related projects and education.

Guest speaker for the April is Chris Stevens, of The John Birch Society (JBS) since 2010 and a volunteer member for 15 years. He has an extensive background with the organization and has been involved in the state and nationally.  The John Birch Society was founded in 1958 by Robert Welch to defend American independence and the U.S. Constitution.  His presentation will discuss the current state of government and politics in the U.S. and how it impacts the future of sporting rights.

The Manitowoc Unit also announced they are partnering with Seven Lakes Golf & Dining on a special Lenten Fish Fry event on Friday, April 5^th at Seven Lakes.  Sponsors will be providing donations to the club for every meal indicating they are supporting Manitowoc Fish & Game.  Members of the club will be present selling memberships and special raffles.  The event runs 4pm to 9pm and includes their Friday Lenten Buffet.  Members are asked to support this special event.

The Manitowoc Unit meets the first Thursday of each month and meetings are open to the public.  Those interested in the outdoors and especially youth are encouraged to attend these meetings.  More information on the clubs that are part of the organization, membership and their resources can be found at:
