Subject: Manitowoc Unit October Meeting
The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces that their upcoming August meeting will be held on the Second Wednesday of the month, on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023. Meetings are at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 for the last meeting before they move to the Manitowoc Gun Club for the balance of the year. They begin at 7pm and are open to members and the public. There is generally a speaker and short business meeting. Lunch and refreshments are offered.
The October meeting will feature Wisconsin DNR Deer Specialist Jeff Pritzl. He will update the group on the Wisconsin deer population and activities of the CDAC committees. He will also discuss local conditions and take questions from the group.
It was also announced that on Friday, October 27th, the Manitowoc Unit will be bringing back its popular Fish & Game Family Fun Night at 7 Lakes Golf and Dining. Scheduled from 4 to 9pm, the event is the club’s only fundraiser and will feature the full 7 Lakes Friday menu, with a portion of the proceeds of each meal sold to benefit the Unit. There will be raffles and drawings throughout.
Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming. It supports youth programs to get young people involved in the outdoors. It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.
