Subject: Manitowoc Unit October Meeting
The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces that their October meeting is set for Wednesday, October 9th. The meetings are held always on the second Wednesday of the month, at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1. Members and the community are always welcome.
The speaker for the September meeting will be Sue Crowley, Executive Director of Woodland Dunes Nature Center. She will update the group on things going on there and events and activities of the fall as birds begin their migration. There will also be time for questions and discussions.
The club has also announced that Friday, October 18th will be their Fish & Game Family Fish Fry event, again being held at 7 Lakes Golf and Dining. This is the club’s only fundraiser. Donations will be made for every plate served to supporters at the event. There will also be raffles and prize drawings. Reservations for groups of 6+ can be made by calling 920-775-4000.
Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming. It supports youth programs to get young people involved in the outdoors. It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.
