“We are happy that St. Croix Rods has renewed their Whitetails Unlimited national sponsorship, and look forward to teaming with them again this year,” said WTU President Jeff Schinkten. “With members who not only love hunting whitetails but are also passionate about fishing, we are thrilled to have them continue as a sponsor. Our members are always excited when they see St. Croix Rods at banquets.”
St. Croix Rod is a family-owned and managed manufacturer of high-performance fishing rods headquartered in Park Falls, Wisconsin. Utilizing proprietary technologies St. Croix controls every step of the rod-making process – from conception and design to manufacturing and inspection – and is proud to of their seven decades of making rods in the USA. Founded in 1948 to manufacture jointed bamboo fishing poles for a Minneapolis hardware store chain, St. Croix Rod has grown to become the largest manufacturer of fishing rods in North America.
Since our beginning in 1982, Whitetails Unlimited has remained true to its mission and has made great strides in the field of conservation. Thanks to more than 475 chapters, 107,000-plus members, chapter volunteers, and corporate sponsors, Whitetails Unlimited has earned the reputation of being the nation’s premier organization dedicating its resources to the betterment of the white-tailed deer and its environment. Our mission is to raise funds in support of educational programs, wildlife habitat enhancement and acquisition, and preservation of the shooting sports and hunting tradition for future generations. To date, Whitetails Unlimited has expended more than $85.7 million on program services and activities that continue to enhance, and ultimately foster, our mission.
