Please share AAW’s stories with family and friends in some upcoming TV shows.

Dear AAW Friends,

Please share AAW’s stories with family and friends in some upcoming TV shows.

  • Watch the all-new Wisconsin Life 7 p.m. this Thursday on PBS Wisconsin and streaming here on Facebook. Host Angela Fitzgerald takes on the trails with Access Ability Wisconsin, a non-profit, to learn about their work helping people with mobility issues get outdoors and enjoy nature. The organization provides free all-terrain outdoor wheelchairs throughout the state so anyone can enjoy the recreation of their choice in the outdoors. Angela meets up with President Monica Spaeni for a hike at Yellowstone Lake State Park.
  • AAW will be featured on this year’s show, Deer Hunt Wisconsin with Dan Small, also airing on PBS between November 11-19th.

You can help when you shop by using our link on Amazon Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/82-1716438. Also, AAW is participating in GivingTuesday, November 30, 2021.

GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and support their communities. It’s a day when everyone comes together to give back in all forms-acts of kindness, gifts of voice, time, talent or treasure. Nonprofits, such as AAW can leverage the energy of GivingTuesday to tell our stories, engage advocates and build a movement for our organization.

In addition to all your time and talents that you already share with AAW, of which we are most grateful; you can help AAW with this effort in several ways.

  1. If you haven’t already, find AAW on social media and “like or follow” us.   Connection is key!  AAW social media pages have, and will continue to have posts throughout the month of November about GivingTuesday.  Share those on your personal pages so your friends and family can see the AAW messages too!
  2. Update your email signatures to reflect a message of giving.   See the one below my name on this email for an example (or copy and paste).   Reach out if you need guidance on how to edit your email signature…..I’m happy to help.
  3. Be a donor yourself.  Visit the AAW website, which has been updated to include GivingTuesday as one of the fundraising campaigns for giving.  https://locations.accessabilitywi.org/donate

Our volunteers, hosts, and partners are the lifeblood of this organization and we so appreciate your commitment to AAW.   Your efforts ARE making great impacts for those that interact with our organization.

Thank you.
