The Mishicot Sportsmans Club is teaming up with Caesyn Ahl to help him earn his Eagle Scout Award. Mr. Ahl came to the club after it was mentioned in the club’s Facebook site that the club was willing to work with the Boy Scouts to help someone earn their Eagle award. Mr. Ahl came to the club with a complete set of blueprints for a project. Because the club is going to make everything ADA available to the public, Mr. Ahl will build the club three handicap picnic tables. The club can not wait to see how they will turn out, but if they are like the blueprints, they will look and work out great for the public to use. Pictured below is Mishicot Sportsmans Club Treasurer Larry Kobes presenting a check to Scout Caesyn Ahl to help with the cost of building the tables.
Mishicot Sportsmans Club is located on the Jambo Creek Park property on Jambo Creek Road. The club holds an Archery League which has started May 2nd. There is still time for anyone interested in joining the league to sign up now. Membership is open to everyone, with single and family memberships available. Manitowoc County Fish & Game memberships are also available with the club’s membership. Club meeting are held on the First Wednesday of each month starting at 8 pm. Food and refreshments are available. Come on out and see the club, they are not the biggest, or have the largest clubhouse, but they are a down to earth club.
