Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground venison
  • 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (25 oz.) jar marinara sauce
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 cups mini lasagna noodles or broken lasagna noodles
  • 1-1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Press [Saute] on Instant Pot and brown venison
  2. Season with salt and pepper, add onion and garlic, cook until softened
  3. Pour in sauce and mix together
  4. Pour noodles on top of venison
  5. Pour water on top of noodles – do NOT stir together once water has been added
  6. Set Instant Pot to [High Pressure] and cook for 4 minutes
  7. Add cottage cheese and stir everything together
  8. Sprinkle cheese on top, close lid until cheese has melted
  9. Serve
