A new 5-minute survey being conducted by Manitowoc County Soil & Water Conservation Department gives the community a chance to offer input on land and water resource management.

Where can I find the survey?
The survey can be accessed at https://app.opinionx.co/58d11a7e-4eab-405a-9e02-d1d6841d2161.
Paper copies are also available at the SWCD office, 4319 Expo Drive, Manitowoc. The office is open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Mondays and 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays.

What’s the deadline?
Surveys are due by Sept. 13. All responses will remain anonymous.
Why is the survey being conducted?
The survey, which has six questions, aims to gain feedback that will be used in shaping the 10-year Land and Water Resource Management Plan, which will run 2026-2035.
The survey also seeks input on the most effective strategies to protect and improve these resources.
Who came up with the questions?
The questions were developed by the SWCD and Local Advisory Committee.
A news release from SWCD said the questions are designed to gauge public opinion on the prioritization of resources such as lakes, wildlife habitat, farmland, and groundwater and drinking water.
