ATTENTION ALL TRAPPERS: Your help is needed and Trapper Dan is asking for it. He is looking for individuals who are trappers to help him teach others how to trap. Education is a very important part of trapping, and Dan would like more trappers to help him with teaching the future trappers. Years ago it was thought that you only need one instructor per 10 students. When it comes to Trapping, Dan would like one teacher for every 2 students. Hands-on experience is more beneficial if taught correctly. So it’s important for those who would like to help teach students, to contact Trapper Dan now, because the DNR must do a background check on everyone and it does take some time. Classes are now setup for October 12 & 13th. Saturday class will run from 11 am to Dark and on Sunday from Dawn to about 9 or 10 am. Please, if you are a trapper, how about helping Dan teach more future trappers the correct way to trap. When working as a team, all of you can make our Manitowoc County trappers the best in the State.
