Spring Cleaning
A clean rifle bore shoots better. Helix 6 Precision carbon fiber barrels use a 416R stainless steel core. Each barrel is hand lapped and button-rifled, improving accuracy and reducing fouling, which equates to less time cleaning and more time shooting! A cleaned rifle coming out of storage may only need a couple of dry patches through the bore to remove excess gun oil.
In storage, powerful CLPs like CorrosionX for Guns continue to soften any missed fouling, so don’t be surprised if the first patch or two reveals additional carbon and copper deposits. Continue to clean the bore down to bare metal for optimum performance. Now it’s ready to shoot. Remember the first few rounds through a clean, cold bore may have a different point of impact.
