Gov. Cuomo Attempts To Pass Even Stricter Gun Laws
Governor Andrew Cuomo has recently announced that he intends to pass even stricter gun control regulation within the first 100 days of the legislative session.
The Red Flag Law allows courts to take guns away from Americans displaying ‘violent behavior.’
Americans would be able to report each other if they feel threatened by an individual.
The law claims it is attempting to stop possible school shooting by letting students and school staff report suspicious individuals.
“who am I to say you’re a danger to anybody, and anybody can say it about anybody, and they’re going to lose their guns instantly, and then deal with the ramifications afterwards.. and that’s my problem with it,” Donald Menillo, a gun store employee stated.
“Guns are dangerous in the wrong hands.. I get that.. but the bottom line is.. a gun law is only being applied to a law abiding citizen,” Menillo said.
“We’ve got to be careful not to trample on and not to take away the rights of good decent gun owners,” Charlie Muller, pastor at Victory Christian Church and a member of the National Rifle Association, stated.
