Friends of the Branch River Watershed Award to Norb Pritzl at Group Luncheon Dec. 8th

On Sunday Dec. 8th, the Friends of the Branch River Watershed met at Gills in Whitelaw for their annual members luncheon and Christmas party. Before the meal there was a presentation made to a member by the name of Norb Pritzl by Al Klingeisen. Mr. Pritzl has been involved with FOBRW since its founding I was told. I sure hope I can move around as well as he is at 95. After the meal there was door prizes handed out for the children and parents.  Then the children were involved in frosting cookies for the group and making bird feeders using pinecones with peanut butter rolled in bird seed. I really love the pinecones a lot, because last year after the birds picked the cones free of the peanut butter and seeds, the squirrels came to eat the pinecones. This is the only club in Manitowoc County dedicated to educating the children about conservation and the joys of the outdoors. Children as young as 3 can join and have a blast doing all the projects together.  Parents, if you would like to see your children get outdoors more, this is the group you need to join. Look them up on Facebook to see all the projects they hold for the children. I highly recommend to you to join this group because not only will your child learn about the outdoors, but they can have fun with other kids their ages. Everything the group does is around the children learning something. Congratulations to Norb Pritzl once again on his award. Thank you for all your help to make the FOBRW what it is today.
