Meeting was held at Branch Station. Pulled pork sandwiches were provided. Thank you to everyone who brought a dish to pass!
Update on prior events: Herp Club at Manitowoc Public Library brought in 70 kids. Our Earth Day event at Woodland Dunes was a big success with almost 50 bluebird houses painted by families as well as a few donated to Woodland Dunes Nature Center. Bridge crossing cleanup ended up being split between 2 weekends thanks to the weather. Al reported that more garbage was picked up vs last year. We don’t have a grand total however, thanks to rude Landfill staff. Trees that were planted years back on Hempton Lake Rd along landfill property edge are getting bigger, we will contact management and see if we can plant more next year.
Upcoming events, important information: Bratfry coming up Friday June 30th 9-3ish at Rob’s Market. Terry sent me pricing from Valders area frys last weekend: brats $4, Hamburger $4 (double $7), Cheeseburger $4.50 (double $8), soda/water $1. These are the prices that we will also charge.
Workers: Harvey Mleziva 8-3, Wayne Huske 8-3, Jim Hill 8-3, Terry Huske 11:30-3, Mike Valleskey 10-3, Cathie Hinkle 8:30-11:00, Leigh Duescher..?. Anyone else available, please call Al with what hours you can volunteer for.

*Summer meeting and potluck? Emily to check with Woodland Dunes on availability. Get Wildlife of WI in for a presenter?
*Winter luncheon—hold at Branch Station this December? We will look into this.
FOBR WILL SPONSOR YOU, YOUR KIDS/GRANDKIDS at summer camps, conservation events,etc—… submit your receipt and we’ll reimburse you or if you find one your interested in, give Emily a call to discuss details! Woodland Dunes always does an amazing job but they fill FAST!
