KEWAUNEE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – An outdoor enthusiast with years of law enforcement experience and military service describe Kewaunee County’s new conservation warden James Moore.

Originally from New Braunfels, Texas, Moore began his service to Kewaunee County as a member of the 2018 warden class.

Moore,

“I have always been drawn to the outdoors and my lifelong career is in law enforcement, making the warden career an ideal choice for me.

It just made sense for me to merge the two to help preserve what we have.”

Moore has a Bachelor of Science degree in International and Comparative Criminal Justice as well as a Master of Science degree in Business Management with an emphasis in leadership.

Prior to moving to Wisconsin, Moore worked for a Texas sheriff’s office for 9 years, where he was a detective within the criminal investigation division at the time of his department.

Moore has also served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was assigned to Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana.

“I have been welcomed by the folks in northeast Wisconsin,” he said.

“My family and I chose to move to this area and look forward to what our future in Wisconsin holds.”
