Fall Chili GET CRACKER BOY CHILI SEASONING
Fall is in full swing and that means we’re thick into hunting and football season! You know what goes great with both? Warm, hearty Cracker-seasoned Chili! Whether you’re sitting around the hunt camp, at a tailgate or nestled cozy in your chair this dish that will warm you up from head to toe.
PREP TIME: 20 mins
COOK TIME: 1 hr
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3-4 tablespoons Cracker Boy Chili Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c ups beef broth
- 1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can yellow corn
- 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Add a half a pound of venison for a fun and flavorful twist.
Directions:

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat and cook onion until they start to sweat.

Add the ground beef. Cook for 6-7 minutes, until the beef is browned.

Add the Cracker Boy Seasoning, sugar, tomato paste, and stir.

Add the broth, diced tomatoes (with juices), drained beans, and tomato sauce.

Bring the liquid to a low boil. Then, reduce the heat to gently simmer the chili, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from the heat and let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Top with diced green onion, cheddar cheese, bacon crumbles, avocado or sour cream! This dish is great served with Fritos, cornbread or tortilla chips.
