Upcoming Programs To Expand Your
Outdoor Skills As Of Oct. 1, 2026

These workshops are open to the public and cater to a variety of skill levels and interests. 

It’s time to think ahead to the gun deer seasons – are you prepared to participate? Check out our deer processing, venison cooking and mentored hunting programs to learn hands-on skills from the field to fork.

Anglers: there two free open house events on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Besadny Anadromous Fish Facility in Kewaunee and the Root River Steelhead Facility in Racine. Swing by the open houses to participate in guided tours and fun, hands-on learning experiences. People of all ages and backgrounds are invited and encouraged to attend. Learn more below.
