Ingredients

    •  8.5 oz Cornbread Mix
    •  1 Egg
    •  ½ cup Oil
    •  ⅔ cup Milk
    •  ½ cup Jalapenos
    •  ½ cup Cheddar Cheese Curds
    • 4 Mini Disposable Loaf Pans

Optional

  •  Sliced Jalapeno Rings

Directions

  1. Prepare cornbread as instructed on the box.
  2. Depending on the brand you are using the added ingredients may be different.
  3. Mix in minced Jalapenos and cheddar cheese curds, mix well.
  4. Grease two of the mini loaf pans and fill half full with the batter.
  5. In any size CanCooker place rack in the bottom of the CanCooker and add water to the top of the rack.
  6. Place bread onto the racks and on a medium to medium low heat bring the CanCooker to a steam.
  7. Steam the cornbread for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Repeat with the two loaves of cornbread.
