This immersive culinary experience blends historical authenticity with Wisconsin’s finest ingredients, creating a night that feels both timeless and deeply local.

Les Misérables Dinner — A Five‑Course French Experience

 

Course I — The Bishop’s Welcome A rustic French cheese board featuring Wisconsin Alpine‑style cheeses, country bread, and an 1830s‑style herb butter mixed by hand with cultured butter, fresh herbs, and shallot.

Course II — The Streets of Paris Soupe à l’Oignon Gratinée — deeply caramelized onion soup finished with toasted bread and melted Wisconsin Gruyère‑style cheese.

Course III — The Parisian Street Vendor’s Salad Poireaux en Vinaigrette — tender poached leeks dressed with Dijon, wine, and herbs in the style of 1830s Parisian market vendors.

Course IV — The People’s Table Succulent and rich Boeuf Bourguignon served with Buttered Pommes Purée, prepared from Yukon Gold potatoes and rich Pine Valley Dairy Butter for a silky, traditional French finish.

Course V — Cosette’s Sweet Dawn Rustic apple tart paired with softly whipped “Calvados” cream made using Wisconsin apple brandy, offering warm orchard notes and a gentle, hopeful sweetness.

 

This dinner is more than a meal — it’s a journey through story, place, and time. Seats are limited, and we would be honored to have you join us for this one‑night‑only experience.
