Good Morning everyone. West Twin River has a good crowd of fishermen at both dams. East Twin River in Mishicot is also having a lot of fishermen today. But today I want to speak to everyone, mainly those who come here to fish. We appreciate your business and company in our village. But on Saturday I got a serious message for all of you.
It seems some fishermen do not know what a can marked for fish parts is used for. Come on man, you all know better then to throw fish parts into a regular garbage can, or even one in the port a potty. Hate to say this, but you all need to clean up your acts when fishing, please. The village has a right to stop anyone from using their property to fish from.
So, if you see someone doing these acts, don’t be afraid to speak with them. Remind them it’s a privilege to be able to fish along the banks. I will say I have noticed that most of the litter is being picked up and I offer all of you a big Thank You. Let’s continue to keep our water ways clean. Sorry it has come to this, but someone has to speak up.
