Join us Saturday, February 21st in the Neustadter Nature Center to learn about the Motus wildlife tracking system in Wisconsin. Jacob Woulf from Lake Michigan Bird Observatory will be discussing Motus technology, Lake Michigan Bird Observatory’s Motus objectives, and the importance of Motus in avian conservation. A Motus station was installed on the Collins Marsh Tower late last fall. Learn its purpose and how this international research project initiated by Birds Canada https://motus.org/ is being used right here in our neighborhood! WEATHER PERMITTING: After the presentation enjoy some fresh air and join us for snowshoeing or hiking the Nature Center Trail.
