Learn about trout habitat and stream management projects from DNR staff. 

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites the public to join DNR staff members on Monday, Feb. 26, at the DNR Service Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the fifth meeting of a six-part series focused on fisheries management in northeast Wisconsin.

As part of a Spotlight Series that highlights various fisheries in Green Bay and inland waters in the northeast, this meeting will focus on the DNR’s Northeast Habitat Crew and its management activities. Jonathan Pyatskowit, DNR Fisheries Habitat Specialist, will recap summer crew activities, share highlights from the KC Creek habitat project and discuss how willow trees are managed along the South Branch Oconto River and Trout Nace Creek.

The meeting will be held in person and via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m.
