💖 Pink Heals Benefit Shoot

• When: Saturday, August 15th

 

• Details: Pink Heals of Manitowoc County directly supports our local neighbors who are battling cancer. Stop by, shoot a round, and help us back this incredible organization!

 

🇺🇸 Shoot for Veterans

• When: Sunday, September 13th

 

• Details: Join us for our annual salute to our local patriots! All proceeds go directly toward supporting veterans right here in our community.

 

🤝 Hands Needed on the Line!

 

Even if you aren’t shooting in these benefit events, please consider volunteering to score or load houses. The hallmark of Manitowoc Gun Club events is that they run like clockwork—and we can’t stay efficient without our awesome members stepping up!

 

🎟️ Manitowoc Gun Club Banquet

• When: Saturday, November 7th

 

• Where: City Limits (Manitowoc)

 

• Details: Come join us for a fantastic night with great food, good company, and tons of raffles!

 

🌌 Cosmic Trap Shoot

• When: Saturday, December 5th | Starts at 5:30 PM

 

• Details: If you’ve never experienced this, you’re in for a treat! We shoot after dark under pure black lights for an awesome visual experience.

 

• 🆕 New this year: No pre-registration required! Just show up and shoot.

 

⏳ Summer League Is Winding Down!

• Last Tuesday Open: August 25th

 

• Final Night of Summer League: Thursday, August 27th

 

⚠️ Note: Any summer league rounds not completed by August 27th will be forfeited unless you have previously made arrangements with Sec. Hansen. Get those targets shot!

 

🏆 2026 Fall League: Sept 3rd – Oct 22nd

The summer might be wrapping up, but there’s still plenty of competition left at the club!

 

The Details:

• Disciplines: Shoot 100 Singles (16-yard), 100 Handicap, or 100 Doubles.

 

• Handicap Rule: All handicap targets will be shot from the 23-yard line.

 

• Flexibility: Each 100 targets counts as a separate event. Shoot one, two, or all three!

 

• Overall Trophy: Shoot all 3 disciplines to compete for the highest combined score trophy at the end of the league!

 

• Entry Fee: $15 per 100-target event (+ target fees).

 

• Payouts: 60/40 split in 2 classes (expands to 3 classes if an event hits 15+ participants).

 

🥩 Possible Club Steak Fry (Sept 11th?)

We’re kicking around the idea of hosting a Club Steak Fry around September 11th!

 

We want your feedback—reach out to any board member with your thoughts, or come voice your opinion at the next Club Meeting on Tuesday, September 1st.

 

🚚 Good News in the Trap Houses!

A full semi-truck load of fresh targets was just delivered to the club! We’ve got plenty of birds ready to fly, so come on out, enjoy the camaraderie, and turn some clay to dust.

 

👏 Shout-Outs & Volunteer Gratitude

Next time you see Jim Kaderabek, Leigh Schroeder, or Bill Peroutka around the clubhouse, give them a handshake and a hearty thanks:

 

• Jim freshened up the exterior of the garage with a new coat of paint.

 

• Leigh & Bill painted the marking stands.

 

The grounds are looking sharp! Things don’t get done around here without dedicated members like these three.
