WI BHA is growing, and we need your help as we grow WI BHA statewide.
We’re looking to find volunteer leaders in each of the districts shown here to join our Events, R3, Conservation and Public Policy Committees.
If you’re interested in becoming a Leader in WI BHA, please respond to this email with your name, contact information, region, and the committee you’re interested in joining.
Events Committee
Interested in bringing WI BHA events to your area? We’re looking for members interested in organizing pint nights, gear swaps, hikes, or other events in their area. Bring WI BHA to your doorstep and help build the BHA community in your area by joining the Events Committee!
R3 Committee
Want to recruit new hunters and anglers? This is the committee for you. We’re looking to expand our R3 program by offering more opportunities to new hunters and anglers statewide. We’ll work with you to get you trained to be a mentor, provide opportunities to gain experience teaching newcomers, and help you set up a Learn to Hunt/Fish program in your area. Join the R3 committee and share your knowledge with those new to your lifestyle!
Conservation Committee
Like getting your hands dirty and helping our public lands, waters, and wildlife? Want to improve your favorite local hunting and fishing spots? Then join the Conservation Committee. Help us organize work days with the DNR and other conservation organizations in your area. You can directly impact your local public lands and waters by joining the Conservation Committee!
Live near the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest? We’re also looking for local members to lead projects in our partnership the U.S Forest Service at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest!
Public Policy
Help us work to reverse the Railroad Trespass Law that has led to loss of access for hunters and anglers throughout the state by joining the public policy committee. Along with the Railroad Trespass Law, the public policy committee will be working to get the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Fund reauthorized, improve Lake Access, and working to address CWD in Wisconsin. We need your help to improve hunting and fishing opportunities throughout the state. Join the Public policy Committee today!
When it comes to conservation, the first question to ask is always, “If not me, then who?” If you feel you can help WI BHA in any of these committees, please reply to this email with your name, contact information, region you live in, and which committee you’d like to join. We need your help!
Thank you for supporting WI BHA, and we can’t wait to work with you!
