Press Release:
Van der Brohe Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary is conducting the 2023 Annual Tree Sale. Featuring a huge selection of Trees, Shrubs, and Perennials, the online sale can be viewed at www.vanderbrohearboretum.org/sale, and orders can be placed through the webpage through April 28th. All prices are highly discounted from retail, and all profits support the Arboretum. VDBA Director John Durbrow points out that as part of the Arboretum’s mission to bring more trees of greater diversity to the area, this sale features specimen trees of a broad variety of species and at scales from potted containers to 4″ caliper. Evidencing the range of choices, note that over 24 types of flowering crabapple are offered. Partnering with one of the area’s foremost wholesale nurseries, the sale offers a variety and a range of sizes not found in area retail outlets. All orders will be delivered to the Arboretum parking lot on May 6th, and can be picked up from 8 am until 5 pm. Kulpa’s Tree Service will be on-site to help load, and may be contracted to deliver and/or plant your purchases. Add wildlife habitat, instant curb appeal, and shade to your yard this Spring!
