Tropical Blast to Raise Funds for Conservation Efforts at Woodland Dunes

Two Rivers, – Woodland Dunes is ready to have a Blast on Saturday, Feb. 22nd during the 9th Annual Tropical Blast at Sepia in Two Rivers.

“This will be our last Tropical Blast, but there are new ideas on the horizon. It’s been a lot of fun, and most importantly, it’s raised great dollars to support our important conservation goals,”  stated Nancy Nabak, communication coordinator.

Nabak says Woodland Dunes hopes to raise over $60,000 at this event.

The Dunes has served 175,000 children since its inception. It’s also home to state-threatened and federally endangered species – a unique place for at risk populations to thrive.

“We want to have fun while We’ll start with a cocktail hour and Caribbean music, then dinner and a special raffle with real pineapples and a chance to win an $800 REI kayak.”

There will also be a wine pull and lively oral and silent auctions.

Woodland Dunes suggests that attendees dress in bright, tropical attire to be a part of the atmosphere.

Must-have auction items to bid on: –  rustic cabin stay in Door County, spa packages, private farm to table dinner for six people, nature art, and more.
