It’s that time of the year once again! Deer season is coming on November 17th and now is the time to sight-in your firearms, not the day before the start of the season. Maribel Sportsman Club will have sight-ins on Oct. 27 & 28 from 9 am to 3 pm and once again on November 3 & 4 from 9 am to 3 pm. Manitowoc Rifle and Pistol Club will also be holding sight-ins on November 3 & 4 and 10 & 11 from 9 am to 3 pm.
The Westshore Sportsman’s club will be allowing non-members the use of their ranges if you pay a $5.00 fee with slips available to be filled out at the clubhouse entrance and in the club. They have worked very hard at making the ranges some of the best in the area. Please, if you are using their ranges, please pickup after you are done shooting. They have barrels available for garbage and brass. One thing as a shooter is to join one of these clubs, and it does make a nice Christmas gift. Please think about the future and what will our young hunters have available for them to enjoy? One last thing about Westshore Sportsman’s Club, they will be open everyday from 10 am to 10 pm with Food and Refreshments available. Also, remember during this time the Rifle and Pistol ranges, the hours are 10 am to 2 pm. Check out the club at : www.westshoresportsmanclub.org
Please remember the Rules of Safe Hunting and please be sure of your target before pulling the trigger.
