English restaurateur, hunter and adventurous fisherman Mike Robinson is one of Britain’s most prominent game chefs. Farming the Wild (7:00 p.m.) follows Mike as he harvests the natural ingredients that make up some of his most famous dishes for his new restaurants “The Elder” and “The Woodsman.” Mike learns and shares the many unique skills and techniques from his wild crew of experts to sustainably hunt and prepare an array of wild game plates. As a chef, he also shares the professional methods and tips to help viewers at home elevate their wild game cooking into Michelin-caliber food, both at home and over the campfire.
Season Two of Man Eats Wild follows hardcore adventurer and award-winning restaurateur Mario Kalpou on an amazing journey across the globe harvesting wild food in the most extreme environments.
Steven Rinella of MeatEater (8:00 p.m. ET) makes everything look good. As a hunter, well-known author, cook and conservationist, Rinella treks into the world’s most remote, beautiful regions, bringing home game meat from field to table.
The Sporting Chef (8:30 p.m.) turns over a new…shank? With new host Stacy Lyn Harris giving a southern flair for her wild game dishes, learn from the best chefs in the field. Stacy Lyn also gives advice on topics ranging from homesteading to sustainable systems and more.
James Beard and Emmy Award®-winning chef Andrew Zimmern brings his flair for creating unbelievable dishes to Outdoor Channel in his new series, Andrew Zimmern’s Wild Game Kitchen (9:00 p.m. ET). As a lifelong outdoorsman and chef, Zimmern demystifies cooking wild food over an open fire, creating delicious and easy meals, while sharing tips for sourcing, butchering and preparing game meat and fish.
It is hard to tell what will happen when country music artist and hunter Nick Hoffman enters. Traveling the world in his series, Nick’s Wild Ride with Nick Hoffman (9:30 p.m. ET), shows him exploring the sights, sounds, food, culture and of course – music, of the places he hunts and fishes.
