Subject: Manitowoc Unit to HOLD Meeting
The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game will be holding its February 2021 meeting scheduled for February 4th, at 7pm. The meeting was scheduled for Lincoln Park Cabin #1. There is a need to conduct business in the closing of 2020 and the start of the 2021 season. It was noted that the City of Manitowoc has limited capacity during the pandemic to no more than 43 at that cabin.
The club will not serve lunch and all in attendance will be required to wear masks and social distance for the meeting. There will not be a speaker and the meeting will focus on updates of the business of the county organization and future of meetings of the Manitowoc Unit. The club will discuss meeting less frequently in near future and longer-term plans for the club. The Manitowoc Unit will also recognize several members who have been lost in recent months.
The group has not offered public meetings since March of this year due to the pandemic amidst concerns for member health and safety. Officers have been discussing recent events and have agreed to stay on for the 2021 season, with approval of membership in January. They suggest continuing monitoring the Fish & Game website at www.mantyfg.org for updated news and information.
Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming. It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County. There was also a reminder that grant requests for the FORWARD Endowment will be accepted through December 28th for hunting, fishing & conservation projects.
