The Manitowoc Unit – Manitowoc County
Fish & Game Protective Association
Subject: October Event Change & Meeting
The Manitowoc Unit of Manitowoc County Fish & Game announced that it has postponed its traditional Family Fun night normally held in April. The unit has been doing this event for several years but will move the date of the event to March to tie into the spring activities of the club. Information will be shared on the future event.
The October meeting of the Manitowoc Unit will be a regular unit meeting and will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 in Manitowoc. The meeting will feature Andrew Prantl, NRA-ILA Campaign Field Representative. His job is Grassroots Programs & Campaign Field Operations. He works out of the NRA office in Fairfax, Virginia. Andrew covers the state of Wisconsin. We welcome guests and youths to participate in this presentation and it is a great chance to better understand national programs.
The Manitowoc Unit is one of over 25 organizations that make up Manitowoc Fish & Game Protective Association in Manitowoc County. Founded in 1907, the organization is recognized as one of the oldest conservation organization in Wisconsin and the Midwest. The organization works to protect the rights of sporting men and women and promotes conservation and related education.
The Manitowoc Unit meets the first Thursday of each month and meetings are open to the public. Those interested in the outdoors and especially youth are encouraged to attend these meetings. More information on the clubs that are part of the organization and their resources can be found at:
