Subject: Manitowoc Unit October Meeting
The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces that their upcoming November meeting will be held on the Second Wednesday of the month, on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023. Meetings for November and December move to the Manitowoc Gun Club in Newton. They begin at 7pm and are open to members and the public. There is generally a speaker and short business meeting. Lunch and refreshments are offered.
The November guest speaker will be Amber Daugs, founder of Grow it Forward in Manitowoc County. She will share information with the group on a variety of topics of interest and will take questions from the group. It was also noted that November is the call for nominations for officers and directors of the organization, and elections will occur in December.
It was also announced that memberships for the 2024 term are now available. Membership counts have been in decline in recent years and the organization reminds the public of the importance of supporting all of the 25 conservation organizations in Manitowoc County. Memberships are important to impacting the future rules and regulations and to protect rights and resources.
Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming. It supports youth programs to get young people involved in the outdoors. It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.
