Subject:     Manitowoc Unit December Meeting

The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces that their upcoming November meeting will be held on the Second Wednesday of the month, on Wednesday, December 13^th, 2023.  Meetings for November and December move to the Manitowoc Gun Club in Newton.  They begin at 7pm and are open to members and the public.  There is generally a speaker and short business meeting.  Lunch and refreshments are offered.

The December guest speaker will be Alek Henseler with the DNR who will share information on environmental issues and activities in Wisconsin.  There will also nominations for officers and directors of the organization, and elections for 2024.

It was also announced that memberships for the 2024 term are now available.  Membership counts have been in decline in recent years and the organization reminds the public of the importance of supporting all of the 25 conservation organizations in Manitowoc County.  Memberships are important to impacting the future rules and regulations and to protect rights and resources.  Manitowoc Unit dues are still only $5 annually.

Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming.  It supports youth programs to get young people involved in the outdoors. It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.
