The gun control crowd is back in Madison — and they’re launching an all-out assault on your Second Amendment rights, hoping you won’t notice until it’s too late!
Backed by Attorney General Josh Kaul and Bloomberg’s bought and paid for shills, anti-gun Democrats just introduced a dangerous 4-bill package they’re calling the “Safe Summer” agenda.
Safe for criminals, maybe?
But this is nothing more than a social media branding effort designed to hide the ugly truth: these bills are aimed at YOU, the law-abiding gun owner.
These aren’t “common sense” reforms. They are sweeping restrictions designed to make it harder — if not impossible — for honest citizens to own, use, and defend themselves with a firearm.
If passed, these four bills would:
❌ LRB 1276/1 – Force Universal Background Checks on ALL firearm transfers — even between close family members or longtime friends. That means every single gun transfer would have to go through a dealer, with government paperwork and registration creating a de facto gun registry.
❌ LRB 1300/1 – Impose a 48-hour government-mandated waiting period before you can take possession of your firearm — even if you’re a victim of stalking or domestic abuse and need protection immediately.
❌ LRB 1311/1 – Create Red Flag Gun Confiscation orders — letting courts strip you of your firearms based on baseless accusations, with no due process, no trial, and no opportunity to defend yourself until after your rights are gone.
❌ LRB 1278/1 – Ban so-called “ghost guns,” targeting legal hobbyists and builders who make or modify their own firearms for personal use. This bill would criminalize your toolbox and your freedom to legally build firearms.
These bills are dangerous. They are unconstitutional.
And they’re being pushed right now in the Capitol with the full backing of the Left’s gun control machine.
After the 2024 elections, Republican majorities in the Legislature have shrunk. The Left is emboldened. And if we don’t mobilize quickly, these bills could gain traction fast.
