| The August meeting of the Manitowoc Gun Club was held on August 4th.
UPCOMING EVENTS:

- ATA MARATHON SHOOT – SEPTEMBER 13TH
- VETERANS LEWIS SHOOT – SEPTEMBER 20TH
There will be no Steak Fry held this year.
The Directors have decided that we will not hold a Banquet this year due to the uncertainty of whether it could be cancelled to to Covid-19.There is too much planning and upfront expense and no guarantee we would be able to hold the banquet.
There will also be no Fall League or Big 50’s held this Fall.
Greg Wolf proposed that we have a 3 Gun raffle in lieu of a banquet to raise cash and the idea was voted on and approved. We plan on having three higher end guns with values in the $1,000+ neighborhood and the tickets will sell for $25 each. Only 300 tickets will be available. The drawing will be held on December 5th. Tickets will be available soon. Please support the raffle and ask for additional tickets to sell to your friends.
Please pay for your shooting at the outside window by the registration counter. Please remember to comply and practice social distancing when at the club.
Tom Schulz and Peggy Schulz volunteered to serve as the Nomination Committee for this year’s club elections. If you are interested in running for an office please see either Tom or Peggy.
Hunting permits for hunting on club property are available at club if you anticipate wanting to hunt on club grounds. You will need to complete an application which must be approved by the Board.
Remember you can rent the clubhouse for private parties. The cost is $100, but if you clean up the clubhouse afterwards, then $50 will be refunded. See the bar director Rod Smith to make reservations.
September monthly meeting will take place on September 1st at 7pm.
