Survey: Habitat Restoration Projects For The Lower Green Bay & Fox River AOC
Input Requested By Feb. 5
As part of the efforts to clean up and restore the Lower Green Bay and Fox River Area of Concern (AOC), the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has identified several potential projects to restore fish and wildlife habitats — that ultimately support delisting the Lower Green Bay and Fox River AOC. We want your help to prioritize and plan these projects.
Here is the link to the public input form. The deadline for input is Feb. 5.
The questions focus on seven restoration projects along the west shore of Green Bay. This is the final in a series of three surveys evaluating 18 total project areas. The form has nine sections: one on each of the seven projects, one that allows you to compare the projects and another that asks a little about you.
We want to learn what you and other stakeholders think about these projects’ economic and social benefits to the communities surrounding the AOC. These could include short or long-term effects on community identity, local tax base, employment or income levels, educational or recreational opportunities, public health or family circumstances. We encourage any other feedback you may have about the projects.
Completing the form will take 15-20 minutes. Your input is anonymous. We will evaluate and summarize responses collectively and will not attribute comments to individuals. Please note that answers will not be saved if you exit out of the survey before submitting it.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your views on these fish and wildlife habitat restoration projects.
