A college lacrosse player at Palm Beach Atlantic (PBA) University in Florida was told by his coach in June that he had to choose between the team or posting his hunting and firearm pictures online. “You want to play lacrosse for PBA, you won’t post pics of your guns and stuff. That’s simple. You want to continue to post this – you don’t play,” the coach texted the student on June 26. |

Following Trump’s tweet, however, Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., went to the Senate floor and tried to pass a bill by unanimous consent (meaning there would be no roll call vote, the bill would just pass the Senate immediately without any debate) that would have banned the mere publication of any designs for a plastic gun that could be produced by a 3D printer. |
